These are a few of my favorite things......

Sadie is napping (finally!) so I thought I would share a few of my favorite things:
-Waking up to my very smiley baby girl
-Kisses from my hubby
-The way my baby girl grabs my face and kisses me (the most precious thing ever!)
-Chocolate......need I say more....
-Listening to my hubby preach
-Watching Sadie Grace reach milestones, from rolling over to eating solids to the beginning stages of crawling
-The way my hubby sneaks peaks at me from across the room when he doesn't think I'm looking :)
-Cuddling in bed with my two loves
-Watching Sadie Bug get super excited when she sees the doggy and then yells at him
-Blowing raspberries on Sadie's tummy and listen to her scream in excitement
-Cooking, I love it! even though I don't cook as much as I would like to lately
-Spending time with Corey and Sadie doing whatever
-Watching Corey spend time with our beautiful little girl (It melts my heart...)
-USC football (a huge fan!!! and it's almost football season!)
-Taking Sadie outside and watching her become fascinated with everything out there

There's many more that I could list but these are just a few that I thought I would share :)

Church Camp 2011

Boy oh boy what an adventure that was! I'll be the first to tell you that camping with a 5 month old is not the easiest but totally doable. Packing was interesting and I had lots of stuff!! I mean I was taking a baby and they require LOTS of stuff!! I was riding up with Tim Mannion and his poor little car was packed full with my stuff. His expression was priceless when he came to pick us up and saw everything.

We arrived about 12pm on Monday, checked in and I headed to our cabin. Tim was nice enough to unload everything out of the car for me and I got busy setting things up. Well it's not the easiest to set things up when you have a screaming baby. She would not let me put her down at all. I got the job done and then we headed out to explore and see who else had arrived. Corey came up that night for services but had to head back down that night cause he had work the next day. It gets pretty lonely without your husband but I did my best. Sadie slept that whole night which was great!!

Tuesday was the same as Monday, a screaming baby who would not let me put her down. Halfway through the day I was ready to throw in the towel, say forget it, pack my things up and head home but I stopped and prayed for the Lord to give me patience and ease my frustrations. I was able to put Sadie down for a 3 hour nap and when she woke up she seemed to be in a better mood which was great! She did let a few people hold her so I thank those who helped out, especially Whitney. Corey was only able to come up at nights and then head back home except for Friday which he was there all day but boy was I glad to see him on those evenings.

I had volunteered to teach the Mommy and Me class and we had a nice time. We read bible stories, did crafts, had snacks and played around and explored. All the preachers did such a wonderful job, including my hubby. There was a total of 8 saved! Praise the Lord!! Trevor Mannion did a great job with campfire and all those silly and goofy activities. I was able to make a pine derby car and participate in the race but I didn't win. Oh well maybe next year.

Yup that's right! I'll head back next year with a one and a half year old!! We came back home Saturday and yes I was ready to be back home, in my own bed. Sadie was extremely happy to be back home with her toys, grandma and doggy. Camp was really great and exactly what I need to put me back into perspective and change my mood. Good job to everyone who participated and put on camp. It was fantastic!!

Angel Game/Dierks Bentley Concert

For Father's Day, Sadie got Corey some Angels tickets and he asked me to come along (haha). It was a pretty warm day but needless to say we had a great time! We decided to go to dinner at Olive Garden beforehand and it was delicious. I'm not big on italian food but it was really yummy!! After dinner (it was more like lunch), we headed to the stadium. We got there about two hours before the game started. I had asked to borrow Trevor's zoom lens but when we got to the gate they said it was too long and we had to go ALL THE WAY back to the car to put it away. Anyways after that we made it inside, checked out the team store and headed to our seats. They were pretty decent and the teams were doing batting practice. Balls were flying our way like crazy and let me tell you, the people who had come to our section were just as crazy about catching a ball. These people were SERIOUS BALL CATCHING PEOPLE! Even the little kids, they were running everywhere, jumpimg over seats and running into people just to catch a ball. Corey decided he wasn't gonna be that crazy so we just sat in our seats but lo and behold here comes a ball, Corey stands up and SMACK! the ball landed right in his glove! It was a great start to the game. The game started at 6 so we settled into our seats. The people in front of us had invited like 10 people to join them and you could tell that they weren't there for the game. They kept on getting up constantly, it was very annoying. We still had a good time anyways, especially since the Angels won!! Woot woot!! After the game was the concert and there were a ton of people there for that. It was about an hour long and it was pretty decent. Corey and I had a nice time getting out of the house though and spending time together on our date night!

5 Month pics!!

A little late but oh well......

4th of July

Sadie's first Fourth of July was fantastic! We spent the afternoon with our church fellowshipping, eating, playing games and just having a good time. Later that night, we went to watch fireworks with my brother and his family at the Country Club in Redlands. It was a pretty good show and Sadie loved them!! She was just staring at them and would get excited and wave her little arms around!

Pool time!!

Sadie absolutley loves the pool! We bought her one of the floaties that she can sit in and she just lounges around in it, kicking her feet and having a great time. She also enjoys when mommy or daddy takes her out of the floatie and moves her around in the pool. I think she might be swimming before she starts crawling or walking ;)
