Busy, busy...

I feel like since I quit work last Friday I have just been super busy. For those of you who don't know, Bro. Ken Barnett passed away last Friday. He was a great man and will be greatly missed. His family is very near to us and our hearts so Corey, Sadie and I took them dinner on Friday night and visited them to show our love and support to them. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 14 at 11am.

Saturday was Holly Cook's bridal shower and since I didn't really have anytime the week before, Sadie and I had to go shopping that morning for her gift. So Sadie and I rushed to get ready Saturday morning and then headed out to Target. I also stopped by Ross and picked up an activity play gym for Sadie. We were having potluck on Sunday so Sadie and I also had to stop by the store and get some items for that. After returning home from shopping, I fed Sadie, put the pork in the crockpot for pulled pork and then we headed on our way to Holly's bridal shower. It was beautiful!! and we had a great time. When I got back home I had to make a dessert as well for the potluck so I attempted to make Gluten Free Strawberry Banana cupcakes and I have to say that they didn't turn out too bad.

Sunday was church and potluck. All the food was good of course and church was great as well. Fellowshipping with everyone is always a good time.

Monday was busy. I had loads and loads of laundry to do because I had let it pile up for a week!! So I was trying to do laundry in between taking care of a cranky baby. We think she wasn't feeling good because a cold has been going through our house. I also took Corey lunch and had to stop by the store again to pick something up for dinner.

Today consists of more laundry since I didn't finish yesterday. Sadie seems to be in a better mood which is fantastic!!! The rest of the week holds a lot more things to do. Making salad and brownies for the funeral reception on thursday, packing for a family of three (with a two month old baby) for the Association on Friday and Saturday, in which we are staying with our good friends Stephen, Jessica and their new addition Tynlee!!. I am a little nervous about traveling such a long distance with Sadie but everyone else does it so I know I can. My brother, sis in law and nephew will also be down in So Cal visiting so we will be making time to visit with them as well. It's a busy, busy time but it will all get taken care of with God's help!!!

The cutest girl in the world....

would be my baby girl!! Of course every mom says that but Sadie is definitely the cutest!! I just love her so so so much. I tried the other day to take some cute black and whites of her but she just was not having it. I did get this cute picture though:

My tummy, tummy!!

Tummy time is not Sadie's favorite time but she will spend some time on her tummy time mat. Here are a few photos that I was able to capture:

Sadie and her Great Grandparents!!

My grandma and gramps came down to visit a few weeks ago so Sadie was able to meet her Great Grandparents :) My grandpa loves babies and in return, Sadie got a big kick out of him. It was nice to visit with them and we all had such a great time!!

Stay at home mommy!!

At the end of my 8 week of maternity leave, Corey and I had a big decision to make: find daycare for my precious baby girl or quit my job and stay home with her. After much praying, everything fell into place. Corey was hired on full time at a paper company closer to home which made our decision a little easier, I get to be a stay at home mommy!!! The Lord is so good!! Our decision was also easier to make after checking out prices for daycare and realizing that I would be going to work just to pay for daycare. I did have to go into work this past Thursday and Friday and next week but after that I am done :) Leaving my baby girl at home for 8 hours is extremely difficult but it is almost over!!!
